Academic Excellence Scholarship Grant

Congratulations, Adrian Paolo Ampil!

We are delighted to announce that Adrian Paolo Ampil has been awarded a scholarship grant of $1,000 from the Tau Mu Sigma Phi USA Foundation. This achievement reflects his dedication and promise as a scholar.

We wish Adrian the very best in his academic endeavors and are thrilled to support him on his journey toward excellence. Keep striving, Adrian—you make us proud!

Help a Future Doctor Achieve His Dream

Every once in a while, we encounter an applicant whose story inspires us beyond measure—someone who not only demonstrates academic excellence but also extraordinary resilience in the face of life’s adversities. Meet Adrian Paolo Ampil, a young man whose journey exemplifies courage, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence, and who now needs our help to fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor.

Paolo’s story is one of triumph over adversity. During his college years, his family faced immense financial hardship when his father lost his job due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the eldest of six siblings, he took it upon himself to find ways to fund his education, securing scholarships and loans from family and friends. Despite these challenges, Paolo graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Medical Biology from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.

Initially, medical school seemed out of reach due to financial constraints. However, through the encouragement of his uncle and aunt in recognition of his potential, Paolo decided to pursue his dream. Now a first-year medical student, his journey has not been without further challenges. Tragedy struck again when his sister passed away, forcing him to miss school for several weeks. Despite this setback, Paolo returned with determination, maintaining strong academic performance.

To help Paolo succeed, we aim to raise $2,000 to cover his tuition funds for the upcoming 2024-2025 semester. The Tau Mu Sigma Phi Foundation will contribute $1,000 through our Academic Excellence Scholarship, but we need your help to close the gap.

Your donation will directly support Paolo’s journey and is tax-deductible. To contribute, please click the donation link below, select “Academic Excellence,” and include “Paolo Ampil” in the notes.

Together, we can make a meaningful impact and help Paolo achieve his dream of becoming a compassionate and dedicated doctor.

Call for Solidarity and Support in Typhoon Kristine Relief Efforts

In response to the devastation caused by Typhoon Kristine in Naga, Camarines Norte, and nearby areas, we have allocated $5,000 from our service funds to support relief and rehabilitation. Partnering with the Thomasian Alumni Community Foundation Inc. (TACFI), where our brother Dr. Rollo Milante is a founding member and board member, we will provide essential aid directly to those in need. TACFI, in collaboration with Attorney Mayden Jalgalado (wife of our late brod Dr. Walter Jalgalado), will distribute food, medicine, and supplies to affected areas. We kindly ask for your donations to help replenish our service funds, enabling us to continue these critical efforts.
